Dues
Dues cover your membership for twelve months, July 1 to June 30. NASFAA mails renewal invoices by June. Invoices must be paid by July 15. If you are joining after July 2005, your dues will be prorated for the first year.
Entitlements
Entitlements are earned on a basis of one per 2,500 FTE (Full-Time Equivalent, i.e. your enrollment figure). To identify how many entitlements your institution can have, look at the FTE and consult the chart below. (The FTE should be the same number as the one indicated by your institution on your IPEDS report.)
If the figure is between 1 and 4,999, you receive one entitlement.
If the figure is between 5,000 and 7,499, you receive two entitlements.
If the figure is between 7,500 and 9,999, you receive three entitlements.
For 10,000 and above, follow the same calculation pattern (divide FTE by 2,500 and round down to the nearest whole number.)
Because your FTE may change from year to year, you will have the opportunity each year, upon renewal of your membership, to make any necessary adjustments to the number of entitlements, as well as to the assignment of entitlements to your staff members.
Any number of entitlements desired beyond the number allotted above can be purchased at a prorated price (if applicable). To facilitate the processing of additional entitlements, please indicate who should receive the entitlements by checking the appropriate box on the membership application.
For every free and/or purchased entitlement, you will receiveWeb IDs
* Subscriptions to the paper version of the Encyclopedia are not included in the Value or Value Plus Membership price. If you would like to receive paper updates, you will be billed for them separately.
